Oh, I completely agree with you, that it just takes an emergent event to trigger something. But people are still to stuck in the mindset, of denial, that this isn’t happening, and that it can’t happen here, and won’t happen to them. Americans are too comfortable. Any other country would’ve revolted.

We are one percent of the population, in queer people are 10% of the population. The rest of Americans are not terrified enough yet to be spurred into action. The sad part is they may wait till it’s too late, we are reliving 1930s Germany. People waited too long to resist there too.

I by no means feel defeated, I am politically active, I protect my LBGTQ and students of color. I aggressively push back against hate in my daily life. I’m not trying to spread defeat. I’m highly educated, specifically on fascism and how to resist it.

Staying here is suicide, and leaving is insanely hard, if not impossible for many of us. The vast majority of Americans seem content to descend into full Nazi Fascism. Any other country would revolted by now. Most people, will not care until the Nazis are at their door. AOC and Crockett and Bernie

I can’t speak for others, but I’m doing my best to resist every step of the way and also being only queer at work. At the same time, I didnt fight 30 years to be myself just to die here. I am going to get myself and my child out. I’m helping get other dolls out as well.
