I don't think folks realize that some NIH research involves actual live patients who have life-threatening conditions and who have not been able to get successful treatment through "normal" healthcare channels. People might die because of this action.

Yep. Things haven't been "rugged" since the FJ40. I currently drive an '89 FJ62, but I've stripped most of the carpeting out of it, and it now has vinyl seats up front. 422,000 miles, too.

Yep. We drove between MO & IL each work day for 20 years, and always noted the clean transition from snowy MO roads to clear IL roads as we crossed the bridge. Some of my IL friends bemoan their high gas tax, but I point out that their roads are plowed and maintained far better than MO roads.

I was once excused from jury duty during voir dire when I said that I would not accept the testimony of a police officer without any corroborating physical evidence. Cop said kid took a shot at him, from a block away, at night. No gun, no shell, no evidence. Just the cop saying this was the guy.
