le canada et le québec ont imposé des nouvelles restrictions sur l’immigration aux cours des derniers mois, donc si j’étais toi, j’irais faire un tour sur le site web du gouvernement du québec pour vérifier les détails www.quebec.ca/immigration

indeed! i hope they're going to update the announcements at transfer stations soon 🤞

it theoretically works, but communication between the rem, transit agencies, and riders is meh, so the rider experience is very average (there’s still no gtfs feed for example, all the shuttles in transit were added manually by the amazing transit team)

the nuance is that the new 721 rush hour service (even when the rem is working) that started today is operated by the stm, and stm buses almost never leave the island normally. the 721 is usually operated by the rtl (during an outage and on weekends)

there are 4 lines when the rem is out of service (568, 720, 721, and 722), and starting today, there are 3 lines during rush hour when the rem is in service (568, 721, and 722)

note that the lower two pictures were taken inside édouard-montpetit **metro** station and not rem station

je devais probablement être la seule personne qui était contente que le rem connaisse des difficultés cet après-midi 😅

the latest stats prove that the rem is reliable, and even exo had issues with their commuter trains today

the entire system is now down apparently

i don’t know, it might also be multiple switches. i’ll try to ask
comment in response to

there’s an issue with a switch due to the extreme weather, so they can only use one track. they run one train back and forth on that one track, thus the 40 minute frequency (approx). at least, there are also shuttle buses
