For everyone looking for alternatives to #Greedbay and TCGplayer, we suggest these alternatives: ✊ Support your Local Game Store ✊ Card Kingdom (union-made!) ✊ Utilize peer-to-peer networks on Discord & Facebook

Putting 200 highly specialized card Authentication Center workers out of a job will only hurt the TCG community and provide a lower standard of service.

eBay is a corporation worth billions of dollars, and spent millions on a multi-year anti-union campaign. We need to call this what it is: an illegal and vicious attempt to break a union, all so that they won’t have to pay workers even an extra $1 an hour.

eBay announced that they’re shutting down the Syracuse Authentication Center to crush the union, putting us all out of a job. We’re calling on our community to stop purchasing from TCGplayer until they agree to keep the Authentication Center open.

We’re rallying outside our authentication center TOMORROW at 6pm ET. Stand with the workers who made TCGplayer what it is. Sign our petition and express your outrage here: cwa.org/tcgplayer

This out-of-control behavior is psychological warfare on our members, and just the level of abuse eBay is willing to deploy in order to bust our union. This is what happens when corporate CEO billionaires think that they’re untouchable.

Dozens of unidentified guards – without nametags and badges – are following us into bathrooms and patrolling the halls. One guard told us that they get paid to beat on people. An eBay exec physically grabbed and harassed a member who was just cleaning out their locker.

Our bargaining committee found out 5 minutes before the rest of the company. Given that we've been at the bargaining table for over 600 (!) days now, this is completely deplorable. We're not going down without a fight.

Just like the rest of the community, we were made aware of the news this morning -- some of us on the way to the center -- at a meeting that was not required by all staff.

After 500+ days of bargaining, we are finally discussing economics with the company. It's been over 3 years since members got a raise. eBay does not provide a living wage. Our members have been EXCLUDED from enhanced benefits, like screenings and bereavement.
