I just finished watching the movie "Shirley Valentine" (1989) starring Pauline Collins. It's on You Tube. I really liked it. In my mind, I see it as a "thinking man's Hallmark film".

In February, Trump was picking on Columbia. I wrote "he's just rolling through the Ivy League. Discrediting Penn, by attending, picking JD from Yale, probably hates Cornell because of Keith Olbermann, thinks Brown is in Cleveland and couldn't find Dartmouth on a map." Now, it's Harvard's turn.

Trump talked about William Levitt, a racist builder and thief, during his West Point "speech" to the graduates. Just a random thought, but do you think in his addled brain, Trump thinks Karoline Leavitt is somehow related to Bill Levittown? Is that how she got her job? Imagined nepotism?

Half time in MLS action. Orlando leads Portland 1-0 on a goal by Duncan McGuire (his first since being injured in last year's playoffs). Normally, the Central Florida heat is an advantage, when playing more northern teams...not tonight. Currently it's 74 degrees F in Orlando and 75 in Portland.

Today, at West Point, Trump went on about an obvious role model. William Levitt, of Levittown fame, built thousands of cheap tract homes (pre-fab on a slab) for returning WW II vets. He would not sell to blacks, and was later accused of stealing $5 million from his own foundation. 3 wives 4 kids.

I'm not sure which collective brain trust is running MLS on Apple TV (if it's one or the other), but Orlando City just defeated Inter Miami 3-0... and who do they interview on the post game? Miami's Lionel Messi...in Spanish! I'm not sure why this irks me so much. Still, a good win for Orlando.
