Bob Avakian is still alive! People are still giving him money!

I think part of the reason they're all so committed to making all of this about communism in some way is to tap into the fact that Israel was under actual attack during the Cold War...because they know Israel isn't under real attack anymore, and hasn't been for a while.

I don't think people today realize what the rhetoric during the Cold War from the soviets was on Israel. The USSR was ship weapons to fascist dictatorships committed to opposing Israel. And in hindsight it looks like that policy was more about antisemitism than anti imperialism.

it makes sense if you realize a lot of people are into this shit for the aesthetic of rebellion and have no idea how you actually do the thing

Jill Stein is a collaborator with the man who has stolen 300,000 children from Ukraine. Good work on backing her in the cut my friend.

It's possible for people who talk a big game about fighting the power to be fucking frauds. This is why people who are serious about what they believe in look for more than empty slogans from failed folk musicians who had dinner with Vladimir Putin and Michael Flynn.

You're arguing with someone, I realize that. But it isn't me, so maybe find the person you're arguing with elsewhere.

That's awesome, but since there are almost 400 million people in this country your moral rectitude is hollow and vapid. The problem has to be solved. There is no erasing the problem. But thank you for venting bile in a public setting.

Ok so if everyone is guilty that means Jill Stein is also guilty. Because if you were paying attention you'd have noticed I haven't in any way defended the democrats.

And that's setting aside the fact that if the Green Party really wanted to push the democrats left the way to do it would be to compete in down ballot elections specifically to preserve control of the executive while helping to undercut the center of the party.
Their collaboration is obvious.

I'm trying to be serious here but the idea that you're going to act like Jill Stein and the rest of the Green Party aren't willing and knowing participants in advancing fascism out of some demented accelerationism is kind of gross. And all to hit Hillary in 2025?

Not a great look to be defending third parties in 2025. You realize there's like...scholarship on the third party effect in two party systems right? This is why ranked choice matters. You can't seriously think you can defend the Green Party after this shit keeps on happening and they brag about it.

Jill Stein ran on getting Trump re-elected this time. Why are people still giving her the benefit of the doubt? She was photographed at a gala with Putin and Michael Flynn. The american Green Party is part of this. She is directly embedded in with the people doing this.
comment in response to

Just to be clear, Jill Stein specifically ran on keeping Kamala out of office and getting Trump re-elected so she has expressly stated that she was in it for that purpose. This isn't a random hit. It's literally the exact shit Ralph Nader pulled in 2000.

despite her not having played a significant role in American politics for 9 years?

in defiance of all humanity and reason, which does not reflect on the American voter despite those voters consistently electing those people as well as Trump himself? It only reflects on the democratic party generally and HRC in specific

So when Netanyahu endorsed Trump over Kamala and said if people wanted to protect him and Israel they needed to vote for Trump it was because he was gulled by the universal and unreserved support democrats and the american political establishment give him
comment in response to

I don't know how that's in any way responsive to my point but I'll concede that one as well sure. Presumably Netanyahu endorsed Trump three times for a reason. And your response is...Democrats also did things that are bad? I'm not asking for a vindication of American foreign policy here.

I wasn't aware being evil made one stupid. But the point, aside from the apparently assumed endorsement of bibis intelligence, is that when the person actually pulling the trigger on the genocide in question expresses a preference one assumes it isn't merely for shits and giggles.

BTW, an excellent accompaniment to the Netflix Titan doc is this 60 Minutes Australia interview with James Cameron. James recounts how the entire civilian sub community knew this disaster was inevitable, but Stockton just wouldn't fucking LISTEN.
