It's a great idea and I do love graded readers but in my case with Catalan and Japanese I want to jump into non-graded material. I would buy some books off Amazon Japan but OMG the shipping fees are astronomical! hahaha. With German, I'd use graded readers because my level ain't that high 😊

Well, I'm studying Japanese, German, Latin and Catalan. To be honest, I also find it difficult to read in languages that I am more or less fluent in like English or Esperanto for instance.

No, I know LingQ but I don't have mone to pay for it :(. And if I remember correctly it uses Google Translate for the definitions which is something I don't like.

This is so touching to me, especially today. I argued with my mom because I bought some books for Christmas, and she was like, "You just pretend to be cultured! Why do you keep buying books and more books? You don't even read them!" And I do, but I also love buying and collecting them.
