I know many couples in cousin marriages, happy and healthy. Is it just the marriage that is banned or the procreation? If marriage only then that is targeting a specific set of people and beliefs and that should be made clear.

Started my 7th year of teaching today - 22nd working in schools. Learned all 22 of my new class’s names already today. That’s a pretty cool skill to have maybe not many other professions require. How long does it take you? #primarysky #Edysky #newterm

Second year of international teaching 🇦🇪 day 1 CPD done. 👍 Classroom beginning to get organised. So nice to see colleagues. The atmosphere was buzzing. Feeling so much more confident than at the same point last year as a new arrival fresh off the plane. Next Monday - we welcome the kids. #edusky

After how many years of teaching can you fall asleep at a normal time the day before school starts? Asking for a friend 😉 I’m not nervous, I’m keen to get cracking on my classroom. A week of training before the kids come in but still sleep eludes me at a normal time. #newterm #Edusky

Back to work on Monday for a full week of CPD. I am in no way ready for early starts and my classroom needs to be literally put back together after a summer paint and cupboard clean out. Will I get it down in time? I know I won’t sleep the Sunday before so I’ll just embrace the jitters.

Any teachers here from the 🇦🇪or Dubai? Last year I did the fantastic #RfP course from the Open University here in Dubai (run at Haartland School) and it was fantastic. Would recommend to all primary teachers who love English and reading.
