I’ve been saying it since they revealed the design. It’s funny it’s come full circle bsky.app/profile/team...

Kirby Air Ride with online multiplayer Smash Melee is pretty much essential Mario Kart Double Dash

Great series of books they’re producing. I’ve been a big supporter of them. Can’t wait for the next book

There's just a portal between backpacks. She's in the backpack dimension

The hack and slash part of the game is fun, the tower defense part stresses me out. It’s still a great game though. Kind of a fun genre combo. The demon visuals are disgusting and I mean that in a complimentary way

Ugh yeah I was lucky a friend warned me about that early on. I'm afraid to ever repose her again at this point because of the paint issues

The heart and the winking Zelda are the true way to display the Wind Waker nendos

I just hope they can find some “leftover” copies of Shantae Pirate’s Curse for switch at this point

I was about to post the same thing. If you already are sold on buying it just wait until it comes out and experience it fresh.

I only partly regret not going to bed early to do this lol. Work is going to be rough today (I had to go in a half hour early so it is literally 6:49am and I'm doing stuff, pain)

Booster packs were $2.79 back in 1999 (This is a cool thing my dad hung on to all those years that I grabbed when they moved)

I don’t know how we didn’t destroy these cards as kids. We actually played the game back then. The Ancient Mew has a small crease on one edge and there’s just some scuffs on the edges of the others. I wish we still had the rest of base set

I had to be careful not to arrange it so well that the whole row didn’t disappear

You don’t have to call me out like that, dang

Only Americans are allowed to save money on games, not Europeans. Them’s the rules

The cheers of joy to the yeow! At the end is comedy gold

Great game and killer soundtrack. I liked they had the “I have no rhythm but want to play” mode lol

Find exercises you can do at home or on your own. Start small so it's not overwhelming. Even just going on walks outside is a great place to start.

Good idea. I think a lot of us should do this. I’ve bought like every Disgaea deluxe collectors whatever set from them for the last decade or so but will skip this since it’s not real physical

That poster would make a cool my Nintendo reward 😔

exactly how I feel. I will never in 1000 million years use the camera feature for any sort of multiplayer but I want plant

Honestly kind of wild that close to 1/3rd of all launch week sales came from Japan. I'm not fully surprised, but it's still wild

Accepting that you’re old and cringe is one of the most freeing feelings

Eagerly awaiting Nintendo to drop it on the music app

If they had just named it the Wii 2 instead of the Wii U maybe we would have been in a different timeline
comment in response to post
Adding in it’s important to note that Nintendo successor systems have historically done worse than the original console they followed so the Switch to Switch 2 being bonkers sales is a bit unexpected

It’s the reason I got mine now instead of later. Plus I’m expecting my work to take away our LSA at any point so using that reimbursement money ASAP was critical rather than let it go back to the company.

They were literally telling us something new was coming for Deep Cut and none of us figured it out lol

Also that team future had music in rainbow color inkatation we hadn’t heard any form for prior to grand fest. I won’t be surprised to hear the full version in this

Along that line the games I was planning on replaying were games I was going to replay whether they got the switch 2 enhancements or not. The switch 2 enhancements is just a bonus

Splatoon has really good single player content too (but it just doesn't make up the bulk of the game) so it's exciting to see them hopefully go full out in a spin off game
comment in response to post
This is what Sakurai has tried warning people about Smash Bros games but I don’t think people truly get it and when we get a Smash not made by him people are going to be shocked at how different it will be
comment in response to post
No this is a good thing. Splatoon 4 is inevitably in the works (We got 2 and 3 on Switch after all so we can definitely have a spinoff, enhanced 3, and 4 on Switch 2). It just means they don’t need to rush the game to get it out (I am being very optimistic about this lol)

It’s too bad NISA isn’t handling the release. They usually made collectors editions for under $100

I actually love them shadow dropping announcements like this because it prevents leaks which kill hype. I also feel like there’s just announcement fatigue with directs that things get lost with so much being presented.

I'll be interested to see how their new game runs on other systems. If they're still having bugs and lag then it's definitely an issue with the studio needing some help on optimization.

Totally fine with cartoony PS2 graphics in pokemon. I don't need the series to be ultra-realistic unless it's in a game where it makes sense (Pokken). Is the game fun is number one for me in pokemon, and then performance second. (Because if a game is unplayable it's not fun)
