Today feels heavy with the world, this country, uncertain. Feeling all the feelings, anger, hurt, sadness, worry, disbelief, rage....the list could keep going.
Just hitting today, I suppose.

I don't know what happens when I die...
I didn't know how many times I'd cry.
I don't know how to teach empathy...
I didn't know not everyone cared.
I don't know if I'll do everything I want to do...
I didn't know my choices would be taken.
I don't know, I didn't know...
and I'm learning.

Families take care of communities, that take care of towns, that take care of States, Countries, Continents, The world....I'm not going to stop dreaming and trying to make the World a Better Place.
What can I do, right here, right now?

I've been stagnant at my job for a bit and it's been tough, but when I checked in with my core values the other day, I realized that my actions were not reflecting that so much.
That is a big reason I am going back to finish my Degree :)

Once you have the clarity to identify and put a name to them, they can then be used to make decisions. "If my core value is continual learning, what could I do that would support that?"...

So I'll do the brave thing, rest and recover, do another Brave thing...rest and recover. Making the World a better place is going to be a lifelong and ongoing process. We just decide how we can help in our corner of the world. If enough of us do that...it will get better. I gotta believe that.

How can things get better if we don't talk about them? So I try to talk about them, and it hurts when they choose to believe what they will, no matter what I say..

Discussed them with my therapist today. Trying to figure out how to love and accept my family who don't see things the way I do, but still have boundaries.

And I recognize it is a privilege. 2 Income household and a job that has Tuition Reimbursement options...I might qualify for Student Grants as well.
But that isn't everyone's experience or situation.
I am grateful I have the Privilege of Finishing my College Degree.

At the time, it didn't feel necessary to finish a 4 year degree.
Now in 2025, my career is stagnant and Cost of Living is way to High to live on what once was considered middle class.
So I am going back to school to finish my BBA degree.

If your opinion harms others, you are in the wrong. I don't know how else to explain that...

Why would I be friends with someone who is ok with Women dying from lack of healthcare, or Rainbow humans not being able to get married, and the list goes on and on.

Current Events, Laws being passed, hundreds and thousands of first hand accounts of people experiencing Rights being Taken Away and putting us at Risk. Women(uterus owners) are d*ing in hospitals...and an even higher % of Black and POC Women are d*ing. We aren't just Imagining things.

Being told No Freedoms are being taken away...but it was said by a white man who has never had his rights taken away. Meanwhile, Black and POC, Rainbow Humans, Uterus Owners and Women, and minority groups are actively having their rights taken away.

Full Time Step Parent, Full Time Job with 2 Side Businesses, and a pieced together family with my Lover and Best Friend.
I was mad when the first plan was dashed to pieces, and I was healed in ways I didn't know before, with the Family I was given <3
