To be clearer — I think smoothers are pretty evenly mixed, but non-smoothers like myself skew heavily left. This is one of the cultural impositions I would like to force upon the American people. We need to make the TVs woke (turn off motion smoothing by default.)

I do think one thing about middle age is, you've been around long enough not only to see a lot of stuff not live up to hype, break, etc.
You start to learn that the goal with buying stuff isn't to buy stuff that you think good things about, it's to buy stuff so you don't HAVE to think about it

Pete is a progressive. He was also a mayor who had to balance a budget, so he believed that his policies had to be paid for. His healthcare policy was a glidepath to M4A, he ran on expanding the Supreme Court, and he was the most pro consumer, pro labor secretary we’ve ever ever had.
