Just throwing this out because Trump’s annexation talk has some Canadians talking about annexing parts of the United States. Annexation is illegal under international law - let’s uphold Canada’s commitment national and international law by our continued refusal to become imperialists.* *FFS

"...public health experts say there are some adults who should consider getting revaccinated. That includes older adults who were born after 1957 and were vaccinated before 1968." Otherwise, looks like the rest of us who are vaccinated are okay for life, according to this.

"But let’s flip the issue on its head. Let federal and provincial politicians make a public list of their top 10 trade irritants when dealing with other jurisdictions, and let’s have a process to address these through the existing processes of the 2017 Canadian Free Trade Agreement."

Seems like an appropriate time to post this classic. www.youtube.com/watch?v=h242...

PSA: If you’re going to go around referring to yourself as the “king” of America you sure as fuck don’t get to call a democratically elected foreign leader a “dictator.”

The message is clear. The Trump WH thinks democracy is a joke.

"strange women lying around in ponds distributing golf clubs is no basis for a system of government"

A lot of Americans scorn Canada for having a king. But here's the thing: King Charles serves the main function of being a blocker. Some people really want a monarch figure, and in the US they project all that onto the president, which is risky. In Canada, that goes onto the king, who's a figurehead.

This is a very good analysis.

Luckily the risk to humans remains low, but that can change IF there is human to human infection. This also may never happen, but good to be prepared, and good for those currently working with animals now.

And here we go.
