I often argue that no marvel movie provides as many broad & sweeping details about the sheer beauty of scifi as the #blackpanther franchise. The storyline alone is worth the rewatch but spotting all of the small details leaves me wanting marvel to further explore this universe in particular.

Many blockbuster #scifi movies introduced ideas around how to change our infrastructure but are often then taken to their bleak political but logical conclusions. Most notable are the #megacities in movies like #bladerunner or #fifthelement that would encourage upward & not outward sprawl.

#solarbabies was released on November 26th in 1986 & was widely panned as a scifi mad max style knockoff met with abysmal critic reviews. The plot is hilariously nonsensical & made up mostly of holes & unexplained details. However if you’re the sort who enjoys an 🌿 remedy it’s a fucking hoot.
