Trying to imagine a race that creates an interplanetary federation but is still mostly white, heteronormative, and heavily entrenched in gender roles literally makes no sense. You cannot suspend disbelief in that scenario. Well said @starfleet-command.bsky.social

One of my rare top-level out of character posts but I just gotta say.
Discovery is Star Trek. Whether you like it or not. Just because it isn't the same style doesn't mean it's bad. Star Trek preaches diversity and strength through infinite combinations therein. Why can't the shows be diverse too?
