Three favorites of mine too! I missed out on New Mutants back then even though I was reading X-Men.

Post Zero Hour Legion. They dropped hints that she would grow up to become the Time Trapper of that reality, although I suppose she never actually appeared as the Trapper.

Two college friends of mine tried to recreate that lift one night at a party after a lot of drinks. She runs and jumps. He catches her at the waist and lifts her up over his head, but he can't stop her forward momentum, so he falls over backward and basically body slams her into the floor.

Wait, what? I missed this. What kind of "secret things" are allegedly hiding inside the heads of my small collection of Funko Pops? Fort Knox's gold? Incantations to summon demons from the inner planes? Nuclear waste? Actual brains? A creamy caramel center?

I suspect he's gone full MAGAt since I stopped working there in 2016.
The most recent Reddit post about his store that was brought to my attention said the poster had gone in there and all the owner would talk about that day was "how Biden had destroyed his business".

I suspect, based on some Reddit posts I've seen about his store recently, that he's telling customers that he dropped DC because it's "too woke" or something. The reality is he probably owes them money that he can't get paid off.

Nope. He recently moved to a new location, and I stopped by to see what the new place looked like. Looking for small talk, I asked how the new Absolute line was selling for him, and he shared that he dropped his Lunar account in 2022. Never started with PRH either from what I was told.

The owner of the comic store i used to manage has dropped every comic company that he can't order through Diamond. As you say, it seems like a bad idea to me, but then again, a lot of his ideas have seemed like bad ideas to me.

I have fond memories of reading this series with my wife as it was coming out. She loved the format.

My tracking info had consistently said my copy would be delivered Tuesday until this morning, when my informed delivery email said it was out for delivery. Good luck!

Here's a link to the publishers online store, and they should be arriving in comic stores soon.

Find someone who will love you as much as Keith Giffen loved killing Karate Kids.
