I believe in a better world. Where people are put before money. Where we think about the legacy for the next generation Not the next election. We are not all born equal, But we, all things being equal, doors should be opened Not minds closed.

When people are stressed - by money or work or life - they're more likely to agree with simple answers to complex problems. Our brains are actually wired that way. Politicians, and charlatans, take advantage of this by overloading our brains. This is how: www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sfek...

"Farage is more similar to Boris Johnson than a lot of people (Farage included) would like to admit. They both pursue political fame but detest the hard work that accompanies actual policy-making. They are personalities, not politicians."

Another good video from Jimmy explaining, in simple terms, some of the wheels turning in the background of the Brexit campaign: www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z8hg... (and who was laughing all the way to the bank).

Makes you wonder when this "man of the people" finds time to do his day job as an MP... Chin, chin with the gin.

According to estimates by the US Energy Information Administration (EIA), Bitcoin mining uses up to 2.3% of the nation's grid. Imagine what else you could do with that energy. www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...

Same in the UK. The Labour government pulled back from investing in the Green agenda (partly thanks to disinformation from Reform, who are given excess publicity by Murdoch, and other, media).

"Dollars come and go, but years are non-refundable" This is (one of the reasons) why Boomers are retiring early (if they can afford to) www.youtube.com/watch?v=TDuB...

Unlike the Tsunami of rights-removal that is happening in the US, the last Conservative government chose the subtle erosion with relentless waves of vilification and eventual criminalisation of the right to protest. The current Labour government has not reversed that step backwards.

On a grey Monday morning, something to put a smile on your face (or start you off to a bad week if you're a Trump supporter): www.youtube.com/watch?v=94AL...

If you want our broadcast media to truly represent our multi party democracy in the UK, sign below to put in place rules to ensure ALL parties are covered regularly & we’re not just fed binary self fulfilling prophecies about inevitability of the 2029 election petition.parliament.uk/petitions/71...

The joys of living in Britain.

"It is naive & dangerous for society to rely on the enlightened philanthropist to curb inequality. We need to stop glorifying wealth through rich lists and start drawing a line on extreme wealth" Great piece by @neweconomics.bsky.social CEO @dhnnjyn.bsky.social www.theguardian.com/commentisfre...

This isn’t about saving Thames Water — it’s about squeezing the last drops of profit from a broken system. Decades of privatisation got us into this mess. Time to stop pretending the market will fix what the market destroyed. buff.ly/fBd0dg1
