Lovely productive day at our lead cancer nurse meeting today.. always great to catch up and hear what is happening across Wessex. I shared our personalised care work programme for 25/26. Looking forward to ongoing collaboration with our nursing teams to improve patient care.

There are the important medical, technical procedures, & then seemingly layered on top are the 'human' things which tend to be more hit & miss- a sense of being listened to, the lived experience of being ill But the human side isnt a layer on top- it needs to be integral to how we see quality care.
