Ask me about Hotel Del Luna, I want everyone to watch it. :) I like cats, art, info about early years education and neurodivergence. And Hotel Del Luna. If I follow you I don't expect you do it back, don't feel like you have to. :)

He was already blocked by a lost for me. Didn't even have to strain to press block. :)

The fact that he is coming and bringing all his maga troll/bots to attack the site is a pretty clear sign that Bluesky is much more important and influential than the dozens of articles in the past few weeks which claimed it is dying were trying to say.

Conversely: every time I sit watching a PP where we're not given a general idea, we go through each concept in turn and listing terms I haven't been introduced to yet, but it seems like 99% of training is that. Reminds me of hwork where I wasn't familiar w/ the subject but had to turn something in.

Perhaps related: is there any guidance anywhere on how to train people anyway? Half the time when I struggle with training (received) at work I find that when someone else explain the thing with much fewer words (no PP, no reeling off all the buzzwords I don't know yet) I get it. Every. Single.Time.

I gave a talk for CASY, which also has a lot of amazing Autistic culture resources and perspectives

The partner wondering what she did wrong: my theory is that things went south when *she* said 'yes'.

This is the kind of thing I was thinking of.

I've seen the same suggestion in the past so I don't know why she's reportedly considering it. What a disappointment (not her, the Labour government - I've not seen anything that made me think Reeves would be good so she didn't disappoint at least).

*Jesus, showing his scars from the cross and the lance* "Have you tried smearing mustard and yoghurt and dill on that???!!!" (Bob from Bluesky, probably.)

I quite like the Star Ocean remake, but it will take a lot of time. But it scratches my nostalgia itch

I know how I'm expected to express empathy and sometimes I manage it, but for ne the problem solving is how I show I care and the words just aren't "me". It feels inauthentic to say yhe usual phrases.

They don't even keep vampires away, but I love them with butter.

I use them. :/ I also saw that autistic kids are more likely to be caught and detected as AI whrn submitting assignments, which is another big problem. I presume because we have unusual wording we are deemed likely to be AI.

basically if you do not have an extremely resilient sense of self/theory of mind and a strong willingness to repeatedly impose behavioral rules on the agent, extended interaction with the free tier of chatgpt is designed to make you psychotic. its psycho-affectively akin to licking a car battery

this is just a basic ux read, my ontological/epistemic/political economy thoughts are not ready for prime time right now. but even just at the ux/average user level, chatgpt is a _wildly_ irresponsible product deployment and i know this is not news, im just continually surprised at how bad it is.
