Just finished "The Go Programming Language" by Donovan and Kernighan. Extremely well structured and well written book, as might be expected from these authors. #golang amzn.eu/d/56ngvEn Why read a book about a programing language instead of just learning it online? (1 of 4)

See you tomorrow 3pm PST :-)

It’s going to be a long four years. The strategy of many groups is to overwhelm you. To exhaust you. To wear you down to the point where you too tired and too cynical to care. Don’t let that happen. Pace yourself. Seek out the good in the world. Keep caring. Keep hoping. Keep speaking up.

We have decided to live stream ASPNET API reviews to the .NET Foundation's YouTube channel as well! apireview.net/schedule

“Freedom of speech” for the architects and beneficiaries of the bullshit industrial complex means the freedom to spread bullshit, but does not extend to the freedom to call bullshit.

It’s very hard to not think “oh, that feels awfully convenient, doesn’t it”

Anyone who studied history is unsurprised. America, you fucked it up.

Meanwhile the metaverse is teeming with innovation

Meanwhile, the US is on the brink of disallowing a competitor to operate altogether (TikTok). It seems we found the reason why Zuckerberg is so eager to please Trump. I’m glad I nuked all my accounts. www.politico.eu/article/zuck...

I’m still hoping the first manned mission to mars is gonna happen during Trump and protocol requires the call sign of the SpaceX rocket to be Space Force 1

As a Canadian, I really feel this 🇨🇦 #SoftwareEngineering #Developers #Memes

I was a teenager and needed an online name. My legal first name is Jobst-Immo but Jobst was never used, so I decided to put it to geeky use. Of course teenage me had no idea that the unit tera is spelled with a single R. Now it's just another mistake kept alive by backwards compatibility.

NEW: Meta just killed its diversity, equity and inclusion program. Employees aren't buying the company's argument that it's the result of a 'shifting legal landscape.' What they're saying inside the company ➡️ www.platformer.news/meta-kills-d...

I don’t want to hear another peep from Republicans how they are the law and order party.
