My second favorite species of penguin chick is the chinstrap penguin because of their incredibly beautiful silver fluff. That's a technical term. Also, they look very innocent but I doubt it's true. Anyway, here's to hoping this #penguinpicoftheday #PPOTD helps in some way. 🧪🌍🦑🦉

I hiked up the north side of Squak Mountain in the Issaquah Alps this morning when it was 28°F and found the MOTHER OF ALL HAIR ICE. Look at this beauty!! This is by far the most perfect hair ice I've ever found. For those who missed my last hair ice post, this is caused by fungus in the wood.
