This Week In Virology (TWiV), a podcast hosted by a number of leading virologists, has thoroughly debunked the lab leak hypothesis.
I'm no virologist, but when the consensus among people who are is that the theory is bunk, that's a pretty strong signal.

Did you see this horseshit? The guy who had his window busted & was scooped up by ICE while looking for someone else had his trial & the gov didn’t have any charges filed against him so the judge ordered his release. Instead of releasing him, gov claims a “clerical error” & are keeping him.

Canadian Armed Forces officers shouldn't be on exchange in a country that's doing this. That's not "virtue signaling", that's having a spine and not wanting to see our officers involved or incriminated.

Spent 10 years as a pilot in the RCAF, some of that working closely with the US military.
I agree with Steffan.
Military capabilities and readiness are important, but if they aren't grounded morally and ethically they do not serve Canada's interests.
