VERY excited about this! I haven’t really played Y0 since submitting our final patch for it… 7+ years ago? Wild. So surreal to be playing it in English! Surprised it doesn’t have a few more QoL features but Save Anywhere is nice (was always bummed we didn’t manage to fit that in officially…)

They fixed Pod Racer! The port of the game by @lab42games.bsky.social was one of the very few Switch game announced as not working on Switch 2 - but it does! We had some theories about why but didn’t know for certain. It runs and looks great! Thanks whoever fixed the issue, I guess 😊

I’ve had a Kobo Mini 5” e-reader for like 15 years and it’s amazing but a liiiiittle slow these days, and I’ve been researching alternatives for that size - and there simply aren’t any. It’s weird! It’s like phones! They’ve just got bigger for reasons I don’t care about. I hate it.

I generally find fight scenes completely uninteresting in films and books, but Guy Haley manages to make them fairly gripping on the page. But having said that, by far the best bits of his books are whenever there’s 1 or 2 people in a room talking to each other or themselves. That’s the good shit.

How do I silence all sports chat from my Discovery feed? I have nothing against sport, my best friends and family love sport, but I do not and it means nothing to me. Yet somehow something got confused and not it’s all sport and cats. (I also do not have a cat or interest in cats.)

I get when visibel white folks message me to apologize for not speaking up about the genocide in Palestine earlier/at all, but that still leaves a reality in which brown folks and minorities took all the flak for years of doing the right thing. I don’t publicise it at all but I very fastidiously document every little bit of each FromSoft game on YouTube, including Elden Ring. I’ve had hundreds of people thank me for it and use my videos for various things - someone just now seemingly used one for an English assignment!
