As you can see, many of us are still furious with you. If you want to post, please explain to us (with No BS) why you gave up your power to vote with the GOP on their extreme spending bill that will hurt so many of us, in addition to these young children.

How do you feel knowing you gave Trump and Musk free reign to take these and other horrific actions when you voted with the GOP on ending cloture instead of moving for a clean CR?

While my husband and I protest 1-3X/week, make calls to our Rep. & Senators, and recruit others to join us, too many others are waiting for us to save Democracy. "Protesting isn't my thing." "I need to not pay attention for my mental health." ARG! It's maddening!

I don't know what billionaire world the Commerce Secretary lives in, but he obviously has no contact or empathy for those of us who live in the real world. Some people are barely getting by with monthly Soc Security checks, much less without it.

How can I take you seriously when you stood with the GOP, allowing them to cut Medicaid, Medicare, Social Security, & many other critical programs?

Thank you for speaking up and standing up for the seniors in our country. We worked hard throughout our lives and contributed to Social Security. It is not an entitlement. It is what we have earned.

My husband Brian and I participate in protests every chance we get. This week it will be three protests. No one is paying us to show up. We are being American citizens fighting like hell for our democracy. Stop being a wimp and stand up for your constituents and for our democracy!

SO WHY DID YOU VOTE FOR IT? I called and left so many messages asking, pleading, demanding that you vote NO and move to introduce a clean CR. Instead you gave up the only power Democrats had and handed to Trump exactly what he wanted. SHAME ON YOU!!!! I will remember this when I vote in Nov 2026
