(For those unaware, Robert Jordan DIED before finishing the series. Brandon Sanderson was asked by the Jordan estate to finish the series, which he did. The guy on FB specifically mentioned the Sanderson books, so he's well aware that the book series was finished by another author. I. Just...WUT...)

One might even argue that if they thought he was a journalist it would be worse since CA Penal Code 409.7 explicitly prohibits law enforcement from interfering with a journalist while they're doing their job.
