A couple other ways in which the legacy of Trump/Musk will be comparable to Brexit: 1) Self-inflicted damage = destroyed credibility = long-term harm. The UK can’t go back to the EU, bc it’s proven to be an unreliable and destabilizing partner. Same goes here for the US wrt its partners.
