Again? My god. They were outed for skipping last week’s hearings. They still won’t show up.
Wow we have a bunch of lazy representatives. This is why I have some grudging respect for the GOP reps. They show up and vote for themselves and their base. Fuck everyone else’s.

Several? Not all. Wow. Ok.

I mean no one wants to live in a nuclear hellscape. No one sane - at least.

Will the army resist such an order given it impacts everyone?

Yes! They can do that and also stop voting for the admins nominees or at least attend the judicial hearings for the new crop. Not even looking to preserve the judicial advantage/protection that regular people have over this insane admin.

No one is calling for the Dems to work with republicans.
Dem politicians are doing it all on their own despite all the people telling them to resist.

What if they break the car windows? Are you allowed to drive away - without getting shot at? So many variables and outcomes. None of them good.

16 democratic senators voted for this.

Trump didn’t order CMPD to pepper spray protestors in Charlotte, Trump’s Marines didn’t open up with tear gas in LA, Trump didn’t tell cops in Savannah to detain a protestor for wearing a medical mask. It’s worth asking why electeds in those heavily blue places won’t answer for any of that.

Why should they feel shame? What did they do? They risked their lives to protect these cowards.
Why should they resign now? They did everything and more required by their job description.

It started in 2022. The entire Congress (almost) is a bunch of ungrateful pricks who have too much access and power.
When all they’re qualified to do is huff horse dung.

What’s scary about it??? Zero physical risk. It’s part of doing a job they wanted and asked for.
Now we all suffer because these clowns think it’s dangerous??

Instead Schumer will sidle up to him at the gym.
If this weekend’s events don’t cause a sea change by “leadership” wrt tactics, then nothing will change the currently elected Dems. We have to work around them till they’re out.

So? Others can toss their name in and run against her. Let her lose. Is her plans to run blocking others from competing?

3.5% also requires an opposition party that does its job or at least shows up.
Delay, vote against all policies including confirming judges - actively show opposition.
Still waiting for that. Dem senators were no shows for some sessions of the latest judicial nominees. Or they voted yes.

Unfortunately Dems are no better.
They decided to vote for the crypto bill to give more money to these people (and their donors).
We aré screwed unless we see more resistance after this weekend.

The other senators wagged their fingers and looked concerned.
Ultimately decided it was important to vote on a crypto bill to give the Empire more power to do the same thing or worse next week.

Not about debate. ASL interpreter is not skilled. Doesn’t even sign clearly and still skips a lot.
Hearing people hiring and certifying each other as qualified. Without including Deaf/HoH folks who actually can tell if someone is qualified/skilled with screening and need the jobs.

America, América by Greg Grandi shows it has been happening since the founding of USA. Against native Americans, Latin, and Black people in the past.
Latest iteration is against all non-White POCs obviously.

Hope the capitol police remembers J6 and steps aside. Letting it all happen. After all they can’t do their jobs more than one time.

100%.
However, after J6 a capitol police officer I know had passing conversations w/a few staffers about internal J6 helpers. The answers were all a variation of patience young man.
He assumed justice was slow but sure. Now..After letting down those who risked their lives for them…who knows…

Mock all you want. This is good for POCs - if it stops the ICE raids.

He doesn’t even care about fed employees. Why would he care about regular joes (undocumented or documented) who’re out of sight.

Their reasoning is it will fail. So not worth the fight.
