I just think they didn't understand the big words...

This is how a way of running a country becomes unwound, and a dictator is put into power. Next will be the deployment of regular forces under the insurrection act.

Hey, The Onion! Don’t give ICE the idea!

Well... since you moved them there… why not keep them there. Maybe parked around the White House? And put troops with the police. Compliance is not a dirty word.

Expressing freedom of protest will just give Trump what he wants... A reason to put in military rule. He looks at China as an enemy and a social model... The way to get this is to take over by force.

Let's just say these are the means by which Trump gets what he wants and as much as he wants. Without any respect or empathy for anyone else. Living in America must be painful at the moment.

Don’t do it Kennedy! They might form into brain cells, then you’d have more than one and then really believe you know more than everyone.

This is insane, but no more than has gone on already. Trump should deport musk back to SA… but that would be going against the enhanced immigration of white SA people because of the “killings”… 1984 is now a handy guide, just wait for “Escape from New York”…

Man… you guys lost… get over it. But I guess, just read the script and say the opposite of what the gang on the other side of the playground say…

Drop US from NATO… Take it on the chin and hope that the rest of us can hold. But China will love to see the US on its own.

Phew... Its like Trump... Brexit has followers rather than supporters. I say give them what they want. Cut everything off and see how it turns out. See how the brexit political "leaders" decide to blame someone else.

Is the greater wrong done by the people who do nothing whilst the person who does everything gets away with it? “Anyone can do anything, it’s getting caught that’s the show stopper”

To stay in power, sometimes things must be done; if they are good or bad, those on the winning side who write history will be the judges. Besides.. it’s not like one of the columns of a economy is not the cost of employing people, is it?

Hmmm so Saudi invests loadsa cash… what do they get back in return?

Trump is eating up the American goodwill that was built up over years to treat everyone as asses. That balance is fast running out… Luckily Trump never went bankrupt eh?

The Reform Party are just make up of fanatical right whiners who don’t think where the electronic parts and clothing etc come from. Let them live like that and see how right they were.

Sometimes I think just give them what they want. All people who are not of the same colour, language or from the same country expelled. Never mind the financial consequences from the countries that have their people thrown out. Just watch the country fall apart when the working tier gets cut.

Well no… it was always going turn out the way it turned out? Like wouldn’t god know about it before hand? So it seems the college is even more “turned” and “locked into step” deciding by following a head of state?

It’s crazy, if the person in charge doesn’t know or refuses to know, then that points to someone who cannot lead. And why he got voted in? “Never underestimate the stupidity of people in large groups “

They shouldn’t show prices at all, hide that from the consumer. Thats the best way of preventing people finding out. Even better, give the people a book where they can swap tokens for food and water. War is peace. Freedom is slavery. Ignorance is strength.

Was surprised that brexit wasn’t mentioned in there. But I can see how reliance on consumables can weaken the power system, those solar panels don’t conduct electricity that well. Plus using those huge fans to generate wind isn’t very green…

Even if it’s true Americans (rather than bots), if they are going to fight, pick up a rifle and do that… or don’t. But just don’t pretend to be the one who is standing there in the dirt. Politicians start fights, armed forces fight them, diplomats end them.

Yep, “switching over” to CofE and bringing the English edition of the bible by Henry didn’t do More any favours.

Ok so EOs are what the executive branch must abide by. It’s an instant action, followed by a long drawn out fight in court to challenge it. It’s writing “laws” without having to get through congress. Trump hasn’t got anyone to say no to him, surrounded by people who say “yes”.

The recently deceased pope was much much better than previous ones. Especially Innocent III, Gregory IX and Gregory XI. Sir Thomas More wasn’t that much of a good guy, either. Following the law of the Vatican and King Henry VIII.

Again right after Planck time (10⁻⁴³s), the universe cooled enough for forces to separate from the unified force. Go to a school, learn it, experiment with it and see it for yourself. But since you believe in what you cannot prove then this logic won’t work.

Prove it
comment in response to post
Again after the Planck time… why don’t you just keep reading that sentence again and again? 🤣
comment in response to post
Just said… right after the Planck time. Gravity is objects following curved spacetime paths, appearing like they’re pulled together. Do you have another universe to compare the results to? Nope… case closed.
comment in response to post
Right after Planck time (10⁻⁴³s), the universe cooled enough for forces like gravity, electromagnetism, and nuclear forces to separate from a unified force. As the cosmos expanded and cooled, these fundamental laws “froze in,” shaping how matter and energy behave ever since.

The laws of thermodynamics emerged in the 19th century from studying steam engines. Scientists like Carnot, Clausius, and Kelvin noticed patterns in heat, work, and energy transfer, leading to the formal principles we know today.

Isaac Newton saw an apple fall around 1666 and wondered why objects always fall straight down. He realised the same force pulling the apple also keeps the Moon in orbit. This led him to formulate the law of universal gravitation.

You can’t prove it…

You see LAWS are created by what we call HUMANS, have a look in the “My first picture book…” for an explanation. The universe doesn’t usually speak English. The LAWS were created by humans to explain what happens in the universe just after the Planck time.

Our pasta, who art in a pasta sauce, draining be your spaghetti… Ramen
comment in response to post
That’s as funny as you… I.e not very… I will bite though. The laws are created by humans to explain what we currently know about the universe. They were created when humans existed.

And atheist comes from the Greek… a = without or not theos = god a-theos The burden of proof lies with the person stating that something must be true or exists.

And the Earth ended up in the orbit it did because of matter and forces. Life evolved to live in this place. Earth wasn’t moved here in order to fit a “recipe”. Life fits to the place, not place to the life.

The known laws of physics (which can and do change), or it should be said the observable and measurable laws started with beginning of the known universe, at the Planck time. After Planck time, physics and spacetime start behaving in ways we can model and understand.
