The new med I'm on doesn't screw around when it comes to tamping down food cravings, but I've been kinda shocked at how abruptly it curbed my urge to drink. I'd already cut way back, down to maybe 3-4 on a weekend, but last night was the first (and only) beer I've had in six weeks. Crazy.

Fantasy readers!: How does the Malazan series compare to, say, Stormlight, Game of Thrones, Wheel of Time, etc.? All faves of mine, but I can't really get into grimdark. Wasn't a fan of The First Law books or Memory, Sorrow & Thorn, so where would Erikson fall among all that?

New pic from Edge of the Storm; the Palace of the Heavens in Nordinaar. I originally sketched this out at book specs, but felt it was more epic in a wider format. It'll be cropped down for printing. Been in a mental funk the last few weeks, but it was fun working on this.

QRP with an art piece you’re proud of! This took a really long time and was huge at 18"x24", but I love that I was able to (hopefully) show the drifty, swirly, slow movement of jellyfish in just ink. I like it.
