Quote with your first computer. This C-64 is the first computer I owned. I actually first learned programming on Apple ]['s at school a year before getting this. It ran the BBS and a recently delivered a Russian lesson, it has given 42 years of both joy and frustration, and it owes me nothing.

This evening I tried running LFT's "impossible" nine-sprite NINE demo on a real C-64 (the one that ran the BBS and delivered last week's Russian class) It was a #crash and #burn There's more information about this in the video below, which shows the demo up to the crash point. youtu.be/gkulnxfKXwQ

OK, got a special one for you. This week's C-64 Russian Class is on a real, 43 year old breadbin C-64 shown on an 80's CRT TV! The subject: Better to be silent and thought a fool than to open your yap and remove all doubt. This is harder to do on real hardware, so back to emulation next week.
