We need more abled people to stick up for disabled people right now. They're going after accessibility, 504, IEPs, and RFK wants to put us in labor camps. Yet the ONLY people I ever see talking about this are also disabled.

Don't touch wheelchairs. Unless you are ASKED keep your HANDS to YOURSELF. A wheelchair is PART OF a person. That's like-- picking someone up without their consent. Accessibility aides are PART OF THE BODY so TREAT THEM as such. Or I SWEAR I'll put you in one too, so you can experience this.

Last night my partner was having a hard time sleeping and refused to try my weighted blanket out of stubbornness. After a while they humored me, I put the blanket on them and turned on guided meditation, by the time I got back to my side of the bed they knocked out lol

Very few people on Medicaid are “lazy” or “refuse to work”. A lot of people HAVE JOBS! There are private contractors, entrepreneurs, hairstylists, lash techs, freelancers etc ON MEDICAID! And then there are the people who CANT work or are underemployed due to disability or illness.
