Outmaneuvered by a Honda Fit with all seasons. How embarrassing.

Sick, thank you! I’ve been successfully doing home workouts with basic gear all this time but gd I miss certain machines and types of weights.

What kind of mask do you use for workouts? I find my typical Aura is a bit intense. My kingdom for a black N95 equivalent that fits my eastern euro mug..

The smoldering remains of Twitter seldom fail to disappoint

I deleted twitter two months ago and really haven’t missed it.

I, for one, would also advocate for not getting giardia and all sorts of parasites and bacteria, but I’m not the one getting it so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ let’er rip, hell, let’s sell it at Walmart.

I mean my family left Kyiv in 91… when the language of fn everything was Russian. I’ve never had immersion in Ukrainian. But I’ve been back and still have family there, and most ancestors are buried there. I’ve given thousands to Ukrainian defense and offense. I don’t need your respect or validation

My friends, I must say to you that we have not made a single gain in civil rights without determined legal and nonviolent pressure. Lamentably, it is an historical fact that privileged groups seldom give up their privileges voluntarily.

My citing the creation of tension as part of the work of the nonviolent resister may sound rather shocking. But I must confess that I am not afraid of the word "tension." I have earnestly opposed violent tension, but there is a type of constructive, nonviolent tension which is necessary for growth.

Nonviolent direct action seeks to create such a crisis and foster such a tension that a community which has constantly refused to negotiate is forced to confront the issue. It seeks so to dramatize the issue that it can no longer be ignored.

This is haunting and damning. We’ve known since the 50s.

It is among my very favorite acids in the salt-fat-acid-heat approach to cuisine! We just had some of those pickled asparagus spears last night y’all introduced us to at Whipsaw for this very reason :)

There are a few who seem to have an aversion to all things pickled. I feel so sad for them that they cannot enjoy one of thr tastiest preserved foods.
