Animism is indeed a good thing. That said, I think it would be a mistake in believing the "vikings" were naturalists and that they had some sacred tie to nature. Example: Iceland. From research, its discovered that the "vikings" cut all the damn trees down to build with. No regard to nature at all.

I saw a post about how the president doesn't control the prices of food. That's not entirely true. Tariffs will affect that. Estimates expect food prices to rise 5-15%, due to tariffs. A lot of it is due to packaging. Aluminum, rubber, plastics will all directly affect food costs.

One major issue I have with the modern pagan/ Asatru/ wicca thing, is the amount of larping that seems prevalent in a lot of circles. At festivals or gatherings often times it feels like a contest of who can out dress who to be the leader. Then at the end they pack it up and barely pay lip service.
