You do have to look at it to assess whether it’s a clear or obvious error. But if it’s clear and obvious it shouldn’t take minutes of review and discussion. The fact that it takes that long tells you it’s not clear and obvious. Hence i think there should be a time limit.

They need a time limit for VAR in a situation like this - if they can’t tell within 15 seconds it’s clear mistake, ruling should stand. This replaying over and over again is dumb.

@gruber.foo - my theory is that the 16e primarily exists to test C1 at scale and get experience with their own modem technology before they bring it up to the main iPhone line. If C1 doesn’t properly work in 16e, not great but not terrible either. Not so if launched in regular iPhone.

It’s not the headset - it’s the lack of engaging content making it worthwhile to wear a headset. I did the Apple Vision demo and I concluded that I would wear a headset like that if I could watch immersive live sports. That would make it worth it.
