Shows how much we expect out of the left back position, right? We keep needing fresh legs there because they're expected to bomb up and down like a wingback.

Would love to see Bailey given that role from time to time

Makes you feel like there'll be a lot less "home"work, and a lot more in class testing in the future.

Fuckin...yeah, the world is on fire, I don't need to be watching dystopian TV shows, especially political/spy thrillers cutting way too close to home!

Five. Not feeling optimistic right now!

Here's hoping they do more to the Ravens than they did to the Texans. It's beginning to feel like this, teams covering up for this kind of shit, is probably a lot more prevalent than we thought.

Mings being eased back in from injury obviously means he'll be called on from the bench inside half an hour, given the way this season has gone

No but make safeties worth more.

Nice shot near the end of Wentz too, looking on helplessly as the eagles win a superbowl without him once again

That's lovely! But this is the first I've heard of 'chowder fries' and it sounds like it should be illegal

I want AI that makes my life better. These uses are definitely that. The AI that I see most of the time is the opposite, like telling me to add arsenic to my pasta, or a chatbot preventing me from actually getting tech support on a website from a real person who can understand the problem

Pick someone you care about responding most to, and respond to them. Take the time to do it right. Don't worry about responding to more than one or two, and then have a conversation with that person. Then, after the conversation is done, move on the someone else.

If they trade Garrett, then AB probably gets fired within a year. At which point he goes down as the guy who wasted the careers of Garrett, Chubb, Bitonio, Njoku, Teller, Ward, traded away the only competent QB since the franchise returned, AND who spent three firsts on a sex pest failure of a QB.

Interesting timing on the request, given his comments recently that he'd sat down with AB and felt the team was really close etc, felt quite positive coming out of that. So this feels a bit of a gut punch

Unfortunately it seems like the model of cycling through up and coming players for profit each year is going to take hold, which isn't great for the game but helps with PSR

Everything about Andres Garcia this January was how we were receiving Nedeljkovic last January. What happened? As a 19 year old he didn't manage to progress and break into the first team of a club in the champions league, so he's gone already? Small profit is nice I guess but is that it?

Not to mention inflating Duran's transfer fee after that Bayern goal, probably added a good £10m just on that

You'd think that Male would speak to Maatsen before making a decision here, which probably suggests Maatsen is happy enough at Villa despite his relative lack of playing time.

If we don't get a Bills-Lions superbowl (for our fellow downtrodden great lakes snake bitten franchises) then Ravens vs Commanders sure would be fun.
Of course, it'll end up being chiefs vs eagles, the least narratively satisfying outcome possible

Is matching donations actually better in any way than just donating that amount? Like if someone agrees to match up to $500, why wouldn't they just donate the $500?

I think a lot of excitement can be generated by the combination of "VEGAS BABY!" plus Brady's first offseason as owner plus Deion's son

I sure would love to know what's going on with his concussion because it definitely seems like they're usually well resolved by this time. Is he going to be OK, regardless of football?

the amount of times I've started listening to the radio within five minutes of kick-off only for them to be talking about the opposition taking the lead already, this feels written in stone

Hoping for big "screwed by the refs on the last play otherwise we would have won" energy today.

I think they might just be trying out Dorsey as play caller with the system he wants to run, then make a decision on how successful that was in the offseason

Their ability/willingness to outspend their mistakes (great framing) gave them a ton of wiggle room, like $50m a year of it. They spunked it all on Watson. There's an argument to be made that swinging for a franchise QB is the best possible use of the wiggle room?

These are conversations you have about a rookie QB, not a veteran kicker.

If they're still committed to the new offensive system, then Fields is a lot closer to Watson than Cousins would be, for example. Asking Kirk to run read options would be...no.

I'm at the point where the "good" QB play from Winston has helped evaluate skill position guys - Jeudy, Tillman, good, Moore bad - and we can move on to, if nothing else, get DTR reps that will help him as long term backup

It's also not an outlier. Career INT rate is 3.4%, this season it's 3.3%. He will throw picks. He just will. He needs to throw *a lot* of TDs to offset that, and he just doesn't.
comment in response to

As long as a player is on the team, they'll act as if they have every chance of playing. It's why they'll say "Dustin is our kicker" right up until it's the new guy today. There's just no reason to say anything otherwise.

"three time pro-bowler" is a very underwhelming career description for such an obviously talented guy, but life's like that sometimes I guess
