First draft of a new novel: done. :)

"The U.S. Department of State is threatening trans people’s ability to obtain accurate passports—creating dangerous barriers for travel, identification, and basic rights. We need your voice to stop these harmful changes!" - transequality.org/news/freedom...? - This is a small ask

Dang. This. This is the one to go with.

If you want to understand the DNC's relationship with trans people you have to ask yourself why Montana, Nebraska, and Oklahoma had openly trans legislators before California and New York (which still have never had any)

Nothing quite like the feeling you get when the book is near the finish line. …other than finishing it, of course!

"The conservative sphere has spent so long soaking in anti-trans animus that the average conservative is now impervious to logic when it comes to trans people's humanities."

Love is a choice that we have to make again and again.

At this point yes, you do have to hand it to Bill Kristol, longstanding Republican operative and leading proponent of the US invasion of Iraq, who is doing far more in his personal capacity to publicly defend trans people than the Democratic Party, the nominal opposition to Trump

God damn it I'm in this joke and I don't like it

Something you can do right now is learn about the struggles of your friends with moderate low vision. youtu.be/utFFjwR6BSY?...

Public comment is now open for passport gender marker changes. You can go here to go to each of the three proposed passport rules, and submit comment. My suggestion: be unique, argue for trans-inclusive policies, against the constitutionality of the changes, etc. www.reddit.com/r/Passports/...

I was today years old when I realized I looked blind in every selfie. Look at those eyes Those unfocused eyes… :D

This is so so true. Listen to your trans elders.

New zine idea: #TOONPUNK: a serious zine for unserious times resist with joy.

#marriageQuestions You are forced to relive your life, but you retain your memories. Make a plan to meet your signicant other, knowing what you know about them.

a "you'll get it when you're an older tran" feel: When even trans people don't realize you're trans, and dismiss your opinions like you're not part of the group. Satisfying, if nothing else for the moment where I get to blow baby tran's minds. :)

It’s nice to chat with other cane users When we see each other, of course

“Can’t change sex”? Hold my beer

I see a lot of trans folks scared that we're going to be exterminated right now. And you're right that they're going to try. So I want to say this: they tried before, from 1981-1989. And for most of you, every moment of queer joy you've ever had came in the shadow of that last effort to kill us.

The tech has leveled up my novel writing game, sped up my day job, and all in all juiced up every aspect of my life. It’s mind blowingly helpful if you take the time to learn it.

It took me five minutes to do this simple but important thing. Please consider doing the same!

"I always wondered: when you cum down a duck's throat, do you call it 'making foie gras'?" The lines I get to write when I'm writing romance novels about toons.

Lots to piece out from day 1 of the hearing on Trump's executive order concerning trans people in the military, but this back-and-forth between Judge Ana Reyes and government lawyer Jason Lynch about intersex people and biology is interesting!

During the preliminary injunction hearing on the trans military ban the following exchange between Judge Reyes and the DOJ attorney occurred. IANAL, but if the judge calls your central argument "pretext" and "ridiculous" during the preliminary hearing, I don't think things are going well for you.

Literally have never been so excited and relieved to receive a passport in my life

Fun writing lesson learned: Having DID makes writing from multiple perspectives effortless. Seriously, now that I know that it’s my writing superpower!
