I think Parfit has a thing in Reasons and Persons which, and I apologize if this is an oversimplification, but don’t give them anything.

Oh how the right loves their zingers. Their mark of a genius is how well they insult people

Let’s say we take over a warehouse full of clothes and try to distribute it fairly? Is everyone just going to take what they need? What if they don’t? Can we rehearse this?

I’m in the wrong timeline. If Abed just caught the dice we could’ve had Twolves vs Knicks series

Don’t be so optimistic. Adams only won by a point. And that’s all you need to win

Fun! Especially if their AI bot does the same and we start communicating through headlines but they deactivate their bot because they genuinely cannot believe any America would elect Donald Trump twice, but the last headline we see from our bot is “trump comes down the escalator, plans to run”

If we deny AI rights then the front of this battle moves further in the direction of less rights for everyone. If we say AI should gave rights then the front of this battle moves further in the direction of more rights for everyone

My point was that if we are in the habit of denying rights, then the denial of AI rights is an extension of racism etc. When we agree that rights should be granted unambiguously, it would benefit everyone in every pursuit of rights. This is part of why I chose to call it “consistent.”
