Volatility doesn’t have to be scary—it can be a trader’s best friend if you design your bot to handle it intelligently. With the right strategy and risk controls, your bot can profit from the chaos while keeping losses in check.
Good luck out there! 👊

I often pair a volatility indicator like ATR to my strategies to help inform my bots decisions. For example, my bot may reduce or increase trade sizes or widen/loosen stop loss levels based on volatility spikes to protect against unexpected market moves.

Grid Trading: This can be done directly on most exchanges. Grid bots can place buy and sell orders at predefined price levels, profiting off small price fluctuations within a range.
Generally best in ranging, sideways markets. Not great to user under current market conditions.

Breakout Strategies: These can use a variety of indicators such as Bollinger Bands, ATR, and support/resistance levels. Breakout bots can monitor volatility spikes, entering trades when price breaks through key levels.
This can be a good strategy during trending markets.

-Mean Reversion: Strategies that rely on indicators like MFI and RSI are great for volatile markets. They buy when price dips below certain levels and sell when they recover or see a bounce back from the lows.
My Cinnamon Toast bot was based off this premise. 🍞

-Passion: Building a successful trading strategy is not an easy task and will more than likely take several weeks/months of testing. Be prepared to sync long days/hours live and backtesting your strategy.
Possessing these skills give you the foundation to a successful strategy

-Basic Trading Knowledge: You don't need to be an expert but you also aren't going to succeed if you have 0 trading or technical trading knowledge.
-Analytical Mindset: Ability to take data sets and backtest info to help fine tune and identify what is working and what isn't .

Agreed, he kinda just quit on the play. Not the greatest decision by Russ but far from the worst NFL play all season.

Caleb still holding the ball a bit too much but played a lot better today.

Why does everything have to be “the worst play of the season” or “worst play in history”.
Just FYI.. no it was not

Not a terrible thought. Strong defense and Bo Nix has settled in nicely to that offense. Honestly could see them winning a first round playoff game.
