hmm, after looking into it, “stainless steel” is apparently intended as “rust/corrosion/tarnish resistant”, due to the chromium in it, which makes it “stainless”. i sorta assumed it was that way because it was highly polished, but makes sense now why it’s become popular for avoiding tarnish & rust

At 18, @wolfgun.space received this Juno-106 synth from his now late grandmother. It's a 6 voice, analogue poly synth from the 80's with a simple architecture. After some years passed though, the voices started to degrade and made playing it unusable (continued)
