The guy negotiated, signed and celebrated an international trade agreement with Mexico and Canada. Now he talks about our current weak/bad trade deals as if he had nothing to do with it. If an international treaty has no meaningful value, his daily word salad is useless before he speaks.

The simple act of calling "DOGE" anything other than an advisory office plays into the goal here They know that the avg American will just believe and repeat at this point Pres created a new department ✅ Separation of powers means nobody can check his power ✅ Elections? Never had those before ✅
comment in response to post
Can we as a whole stop referring to this group as DOGE? Only Congress has the authority to create executive branch departments At best Elon is in advisory role calling it DOGE further blurs the lines & helps normalize what they're doing Advisors can't shut down departments or cut approved spending

Looking at tickets for Detroit the arena is 99% sold out but of course the Ticketmaster resale site shows seats in nearly every section $600+ for GA floor $100 for partially obstructed upper deck Plus a 2nd set of fees of course I can afford it, won't do it though Fuck ticketmaster

But....does it refute the fact that it was RIIIIIGGGGGED!!!!!?!? Checkersmate chemtrailers!

Well Elmo did hijack the @America handle to use it for his PAC, so there's a good chance they'll make that exact argument Plus there's nothing preventing them from taking over AJ or IW's Twitter handles with some 3rd grade understanding of the 1st Amendment as their public excuse

@lizdye.bsky.social & @andrewtorrez.bsky.social reported on Law and Chaos Pod that Leon's lawyers popped in to the status conference to claim that Jones's Twitter account can't/shouldn't be sold So far that seems to be his only involvement

Well the fun part is, with the right AG and Congress he wouldn't even have to claim immunity!

I was an early adopter on that other site so this is the 2nd time for me First it was a way for me to text my car's mileage and how much gas I bought which would post on my timeline and get picked up by a fuel economy tracker Then it was a pretty good place to get news Then I deleted my account.

WHOA! Okay, we will have a whole podcast on what just happened in bankruptcy court with the Infowars/Onion deal in the morning. Going to record now. podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/l...

Would you be surprised if this was the same FCC commissioner who "blasted" a request for the agency to do something about COVID lies? Oh, and that the same guy believes Trump actually has a case against CBS for doing an interview with Harris?

Usually I get irritated when a hotel "upgrades" my room to a suite where the walk from bed to bathroom is twice as long for no good reason. But I might also be irritated if there was zero walk from the bed to the bathroom...

Well look at you Mr "My car can be parked", I carry a variety of logs in the trunk to wedge under the tires so my car doesn't roll away while I'm buying groceries.

I thought it was Mike Roman who was worried about the PA language spreading. I recall a similar quote from filings in the last year or so. If my memory is functional today (doubtful) Roman may be P5 based on the 'if this gets out it could snowball' quite.

I should have added an asterisk to my original comment because I do own a connected smoker and while the notifications are nice I do worry about the app. But as you mentioned, products like the combustion thermometer provide the same info while being more flexible in where they can be used.

I don't have very many "middle aged man yells at the cloud" moments but connected appliances just don't appeal to me. However it is good to see which companies are transparent about their plans to support that tablet they grafted on to a fridge door.

Sharing his 2025 White House vision obviously.

I've just received reports that a portal to hell has been opened in a different small town, the town is now being haunted by the tortured ghosts of their pets that were BEING EATEN I SAW IT ON TV. Disclaimer: the chance of this being real is greater than the chance of trump joining a 2nd debate

Might be tough but I guess it depends which end of the dog is facing downward

Just think about how sad JD must be, home alone, in the couch, praying he doesn't receive the dreaded breakup text...

Was he drunk or did he see a dime on the floor and get excited to have some cash that couldn't be traced by his creditors? Or both, it was probably both....

You are correct, but it doesn't matter if it will be successful or not Using the USSC ruling in this way to challenge his felony conviction will surely delay any repercussions until well after the election.

The only answer is to vote in every election, from the top of the ballot to the bottom. Maybe decades from now there's a chance that we've replaced enough of these maniac judges to make a difference.

This will be a good test of the 'rule for the ages' The false business records themselves were all created while he was president (Feb '17 onward), because the payments had to stay hidden until after the election We'll see if we have a retroactive coronation once this is settled

The checks were signed while he was president, the first in February 2017 then monthly after that. So Hicks' testimony and the actions themselves could all be inadmissible.

Does it matter if it's an official act or not if the prosecution can't use testimony from any officials who advised against it while trying to prove intent and knowledge of the law?

Since the gag order hearings and final decision seemed to go very smoothly (no real delay to the case) my guess is he'll shut up and stop violating the order $9k is a steep price to pay for 3 hours of delay But if his #1 motive isn't delay he'd happily spend a few hours in a cell for that headline

Another (slightly more minor) "wait what?" moment was when Kavanaugh claimed that Ford's pardon of Nixon is now widely considered a positive/popular action...

A subsection of 9/11 conspiracist idiots believe there's no way an aircraft could have done damage to the towers because airplanes are made out of aluminum and would have just crumpled against the side of a steel tower like a soda can would. I can see this argument coming from the same group...

The new terminal A was leaps and bounds better when it came to available power outlets. There were even wireless chargers in the small tray tables at some of the seats. I was able to check out a lot of it during a 7 hour delay because EWR is still EWR. The other terminals will be replaced eventually

That would be Gary Larson, who once depicted a young Donald on his way to class.
