You can imagine musk becoming unglued and crashing, entering rehab, and emerging sober and realizing "what the fuck have I been doing?" Many of us have been there, of course, but we're not the world's richest man currently allowed to smash the federal government.

Last time around it was mostly trump saying stupid shit. Now everyone around him is saying stupid shit. How does this end well?

I can't get past the two dots of light dancing on his head.

According to one commercial real estate developer I spoke to, the asking price for the abandoned hotel project (which is currently assessed at $8.9 million) is apparently in the low teens (of millions) and they don't think anyone is going to be willing to pay that much for it.

"We hope the property is sold, but this could be a useful tool," said Mayor Juandiego Wade, who admits Council has yet to discuss the new legislation.

...the degree and the intensity with which people "get upset when they hear Trump talk" has become a way of measuring America’s morale.

Update: shooter identified as Justin M. Barbour, 28, of Crozet. Victims were Peter L. Martin, 43, of Crozet and Diane G. Spangler, 68, of Afton. Barbour was shot and killed by an off-duty federal law enforcement officer leaving the store. It's still unknown if Barbour knew the victims.

Sorry, wasn't questioning your knowledge, just trying to be helpful. I've been curious about the same thing and reached out to BB to ask the same question.

Thats CSX running the empty coal cars. CSX, Amtrak, and BB share the line through Cville. BB has short lines in various places, hauls newsprint paper for the RTD, stone for Luck Stone quarries, wood chips, etc. BB also operates an excursion train out of Staunton...which has become wildly popular.

$2,100 a night for a 5-bedroom house (one bedroom has two twin beds) with 3 bathrooms is reasonable? Go for it!

Yes, and I'm talking about the juxtaposition of that photo with reporting that goes with it, which does not address the abnormality.
comment in response to post
Hmm...not seeing that in the reporting here. The image presented here is unprecedented...musk is making a mockery of the Oval Office. That's not addressed as it should be.
comment in response to post
Yes, exactly, but the post blurb and reporting is normalizing the abnormality. That's my point. The dynamics of that photo aren't even addressed.

Never seen anything like this? Did you miss the impeachments, felony conviction, and insurrection?
comment in response to post
Okay, but what about that fucking weird photo you ran with this post? What the hell is going on here?

Think you may be trying too hard, folks. He was already asked about it, said he wasn't bothered, thinks musk is doing a great job.
