protip: when you read most DJ's bio's and you see a line about basement parties/scenes playing a part in their formative years or whatever, just know the "basement" is mom and dad's house. the amount of bullshit i've spotted on this topic is absurd. revisionist history 4 cool points <3

Severance is beautifully written - impressively complex with enough clues and hints to provide the viewer with morsels of an answer but not quite the certainty of truth for any hypothesis. if you saw the first episode and it didnt hook you in, give it the time - it's fuckin magic.

seems like its much harder to grow "followers" on various platforms these days. not sure what the inhibiting factors are contributing to this either. sure there's probably some strategy on how to reach/attract that changes per platform but gone are the days of 20K soundcloud followers inside 1yr
