Good to know! Thank you!

Definitely! And the computer access back-up option is a good point. I worry about leaving our tiktok account up without being able to moderate comments and such, but I guess I could do that via browser!

that is very kind, thank you ❤️ and definitely the loss of community makes it hard to leave! selfishly, tiktok has always been our biggest social media audience, which is very hard to walk away from. no other app compares to the specificity and success of the fyp for me as both a creator and user!

it's funny goofy haha and goes into all the gory details of the genre but also talks about the history of censorship in fandom spaces and how queer subgenres like the omegaverse have managed to survive and thrive despite it all so uhhhh seemed good for the times lol

A robot cannot and will not capture the essence of being human on account of not being one. If art is here to build human connection, to stir within us provocative thought, to heal wounds and inspire, why do you want to source that out to a Roomba.

This is an oversimplification, but the basic argument is: fanfic on AO3 is not copyright infringement because no money is made from it. Being non-profit also means AO3 runs on donations, not advertising money. Advertisers were a big part of why ffnet and lj purged fics en masse back in the day.
