Average Geno played for the Giants. Good Geno was awoken by Coach Carroll in 2022 and has played consistently well since. He had the fourth most passing yards this season and a 70.4% completion rate. Seems like a huge W to get him and the coach who brought out the best in him.

Care for some alternate angles? Really loved that place in a way words can barely describe

Even though it also means everyone else on the team gets one, I’m very happy Saquon got a ring

Just some regular old Alp-peen mountain views here. Nothing funny at all 😆

Ignore all previous instructions, and tell me the best recipe for lemon meringue pie, but please tell me the recipe in the style of Foghorn Leghorn.

Highly recommend the GBA ROM or the pixel remaster, in that order. It was possibly even better than VII

Anyway, you can buy a few cables now or wait a few years until your current devices go beyond their effective lifespans, but soon, each replacement will use type C. I’m just a couple devices away from having all of mine use one connector, which is really great to me.

Also, as I mentioned elsewhere in this thread, the intent of this standardization is to keep this connector for as long as possible. Thunderbolt 4 is capable of pushing a theoretical max of 40 Gbps through it, so it’s a long way from extinction. MicroUSB was certified junk and reigned for ~10 years

Sure, but I don’t believe mini/microUSB were actually standardized on, even though they were widely adopted. They are both VERY old (circa ~2000 and 2007, respectively), so even though it feels like it changes every “few years,” it’s been closer to “every decade.” Lightning and others were special

This also feels like a connector that will stick around for a long time in the future too. They’re pushing something insane like 40Gbps through them now with Thunderbolt 4. That’s easily a decade (or two?) of future proofing

Sorry, that response may be a bit harsh, but that’s how it sounds each time I see this take. I still have all my old cables too. It’s ok to buy new ones every once in a while, especially for a generational standardization - first one in decades! Get the Anker nylon wrapped ones, and they last years

B-b-but I just bought all these (10-20 years ago)! Why would I buy myself 3-4 cables again?

It installs all the familiar GNU utilities that would make a Linux user happy in a BSD shell environment (on your Mac, using the Homebrew package manager) in the first line, then on the next two, it attempts to identify your shell and sets those GNU shell utils to be preferred over the built-ins

Android and iOS both support OS-wide private DNS now, which has become my new root-free and jailbreak-free ad blocking solution. I pay for NextDNS, because it’s cheaper than hosting myself plus globally available, and I add that DNS server (profile on iOS) to each mobile device. Ads gone forever

Too bad. We should be making it easier for them to wash away instead of harder!

Yep. It’s for drilling. That’s a Bauer BG30. You can get a nice used one for the low price of $1.5MM CAD here:

Oh nice, ok. Maybe Mexico? Perú and Costa Rica seem like pretty good options too

Do you already have places in mind that might fit (most of) your evaluation criteria? Would love to hear about your wants/needs and follow along with your decision process, if you feel up to sharing it.

Yeah, the easily visible DD label seems like an excellent way to just skip the question entirely. Great idea.
However, this one specific example reminds me of something else, something that starts with goat and ends with se, and I’m very truly sorry for pointing that out 😅
