Ah yes, hope of recovery is scary if you get let down. But I hope you can find a way to enjoy and appreciate the progress! 🥰

I haven't! On days I'm home, sometimes I notice they come around about 11-noon and today I heard them.

💛 I wish it wasn't so hard to be honest. A bit of a Backslide day. But I got to see and feed a pair of crows that visit my house so that was rewarding. How are you?
comment in response to post
I just had to come back here and let you know the crow pair came to visit today. I have off Mondays now and sure enough between 11 and noon I hear them calling. It was so nice to see them.

Thank you for helping maintain a safe place here

Took another downturn unfortunately. Sometimes the bright side of the Internet feels like my only respite 💛

Aw I love that

Haha I do love a flannel! Hard to find ones that fit thick arms though since many of them don't have stretch!

Thank you!! ❤️🖤🩶 it's going to be a 3 panel thing so I gotta do the side panels and color adjust the green and add more b&w & grayscale so it looks less Christmassy but still like currency. The red circle is going to be a backwards clock but I haven't decided exactly how yet.

I tried early on. I left peanuts in my car so I remembered to throw a few out for them every morning. One did start perching on the electric lines next to our house but I got out of the habit. Maybe I should try again!

I have been trying since 2020 to befriend the crows in my neighborhood but I work every day and they usually come around between 10am and noon but no one else in my household is TAKING THIS SERIOUSLY so they don't get treats regularly 😩

Been practicing less because I'm working on the Blurryface 10th Anniversary Collab hosted by @artbytheclique.bsky.social but I'm finally developing some callouses so playing doesn't hurt so much. Also trying a little bit of piano.

I'm a noob so take this with a grain of salt, and I haven't gotten this far on Yousician but I looked ahead and it looks like a combination of strumming with his thumb and finger picking with the other fingers

Nice! Thanks. I need to compile a list of good places to go for references!
comment in response to post
involved with music but it's much less likely for an artist to license references. But most of us don't make money on our art, and a musician only has to pay royalties for a cover if they are making money on that cover. Anyway, thanks for reading my novella lol
comment in response to post
much like the reference image and people were able to find it. I think it's weird that it's totally cool for musicians to do covers of someone else's song but the moment a visual artist's work looks too close to a reference it's a big ordeal. Maybe some of that has to do with there being royalties
comment in response to post
they even accidentally use AI as a reference. It's getting harder to find references of genuine images in a general search, but really we should be using resources specifically made for artists that are either free use or licensable. I've seen artists get bashed online for their art looking too

I think it *could* be a useful tool. I played around with Midjourney when it was new and free for funsies. I think the problem most artists have with AI is the lack of consent of using artists' images to train it and also people not being honest about using AI. Artists get clocked all the time if

Hoping it stays out of your way 🤞 I have a friend I keep in touch with in Temecula so I check the maps every so often. Thinking of you! 💛💜💛

100%. I was never super invested in Twitter/x and I imagine it's harder for people who have built a community there.

I think I hold it wrong too.... I start out okay but then I end up all hunched over and my left hand and wrist get all crampy. I try watching videos of other people and try to relax

I started using the Yousician app and I like it because it kind of gamifies it and gives you scores and goals.
