One thing I will say is that if you don't bring a fighting type, the normal gym will be very annoying. If you don't choose Tepig, I'd recommend catching Sawk or Throh, or even a Timburr

Black and White are my fave for sure. Unova is my second favorite generation of Pokemon, only behind Kalos, and the story for BW/B2W2 is absolutely peak. Though, Red was my first time playing a Pokemon game when my bro-in-law let me play on his file when I was ten. Good times
