It was his cover of the Bee Gees "How Deep is Your Love." I have checked the discourse online, and apparently almost no one in the USA knows who this is. So weird that Paramount sent money on this. Also weird that someone so famous across the globe casts no shadow here.

I looked up his discography and nothing looked familiar, so I started listening to tracks to see if I had accidentally absorbed something from this guy in the background at some point. I listened to samples of of at least 20 tracks before hearing a familiar melody.
