Hm, I'd say it's usually always helpful to use all of your value changes but sometime you just won't need to. If you're optimizing your turns, you'll only have about 3 dice in the Pit to manipulate. Sometimes you just don't need to change them.

That's a great point about the Cluster! I changed the 6 to a 3, so that the optimal more is to gain 4 points.
