The real killer was that tweet. It slayed.

Yeah, I've met people who can't reconcile the fact that you can be both dumb and rich. To admit that some rich people are dumb is to admit that the world is profoundly unfair.

Gatekeeping about a new pope is a cardinal sin.

I suggested something similar the other day. Bond movies as normal, and then spinoff TV shows (like James Bond Jr or Felix). But it'll probably be a Bond TV series to try to make people subscribe to Amazon. Reacher or Tom Clancy with a Brit.

Did the show end on a cliffhanger before it got cancelled?

"Libertarian" means hardcore right wing, but doesn't want to put that on their tinder profile.

Lolz. Better late than never, I guess.

I'm halfway through it and am loving it. It's a sequel to Harlem Shuffle, which I also really enjoyed. I liked Underground Railroad, but those two crime books are much more my cup of tea.

A bold choice! Pinkerton is brill, but I drifted away from them after that.

I hear you. And I agree that some steps could've been bolder. But I'm just saying it could've been much worse. And probably will be!

Lol, yes. The Broccolis put out a Bond film once every few years, taking time to reinvent it every decade or so. Amazon are more in the churn business.

As I said earlier, the ideal solution would be TV shows (Felix, Moneypenny etc). And to keep making films as normal. But I think they'll just do TV and it won't be good.

I am also baffled. And absolutely mortified for them too. Scundered. Scarlet.

Hup! Live action or animated. Either is cool with me.

I mean, we do discus, and other old-fashioned Olympic sports, but usually not at gigs.

"Joe, where did you get that ridiculous figure of a billion dollars?" Well, since you asked...

I've tried printing them out and eating the photos, and you'd be surprised at how close it is to the real thing.

Balistos remind me of @sylvialeatham.bsky.social because she (wrongly) hates them! I remember watching Blue is the Warmest Colour with Sylvia, and when heartbroken Adele Exarchopoulis starts eating a Baliso, Sylvia said, "well that's not gonna help".
