In his defense, you did make him look like an illiterate idiot. I mean, he’s trying to make a point, and you just ruined his whole thing.

Maybe we should just classify people by race, or gender… or, ( as a redhead, my favorite), hair color.
I mean trying to see people as individuals is just too hard.

Purity voters. They are unwilling to put in the work and the wait to get the things they want.
In politics one gotta compromise at times. Make alliances with people who are not ‘pure’. Put in the work. VOTE!!!
Purity voters don’t understand politics.

Ouch. It is painful to expell Diet Coke through my nose. How about a little warning next time?

I confess, I myself am mostly pissed off at the various Democrats who sat on their hands and didn’t vote at all because somehow they thought not voting for Harris was the better option.
I mean, I expected the Trump voters to vote for him.

We’ve given a deeply, deeply unwell man unfettered access to the world’s largest nuclear arsenal, what could even go wrong?

It’s almost as if he was dumber than a wet burlap sack full of bleached blonde hair.

Now I’m sitting here wondering: Did you buy a 5 gallon pail of peanut butter? Or did you buy some kind of small-batch, hand-crafted, artisanal peanut butter?
Or have I lost all track of food prices?
(Peanuts come from South Georgia, so tariffs probably can’t be involved. Probably.)

I mean, “I was only following orders” isn’t a defense; it’s a confession.

Well, they’re only going to use the power of the state against minorities and the political opposition; I’m sure it’ll be fine.
We all know how this story goes… but every time, the folks implementing this stuff seem to be utterly unaware of how it has always ended in the past.

Oddly, all MY “economic anxiety” these days is caused by some Orange dude. (I’m gonna claim that I don’t hate ALL Umpalumpas, just that one.)

I’m just sayin’ there’s no reason to give up all hope.

You’re certainly not wrong.
For the most part I HATE what is happening to my country, but part of me is just going to laugh at all these farmers as they lose their farms, and watch their children and grandchildren die of trivially preventable childhood diseases.

Affordable child care?
A minimum wage that represents what it costs to live and eat in whatever state you’re in?
There is a good long list of simple things to do that would make people feel safer being parents.

My doctor tried to tell me the same thing… I told him I was fine, he just needed to stop mumbling.

They call it “Artificial Intelligence “, but really it’s just bog-standard stupidity.

I’m so farging old, I remember when Republicans said they thought people who mistreated classified information should go to jail. But, that was, I donno, eight years ago, or something.

This seems needlessly harsh; they can all eat shit and die together. I’d be okay with that.

I’m thinking Kash Patel is the director of the FBI. There will never again be any actual investigations.

One could make the argument that we invited China into the Global Maritime Empire that NATO created post WWII. And, one could argue that that was going well, making China dependent upon the rest of the world. And then, someone came along and knocked the table over.
