I LOVED it. I was a bit skeptical because it almost mirrored Jace/Alec/Clary. Even though Jace was a doppleganger of Will, the story was great. And seeing the connection of Jem/Brother Zachariah to the mortal instruments, among others, was great. I am in love with the Shadowhunter universe.

While i wait for more books to arrive, my next one is non-fiction. This one is more work based. It’s about whistleblowers with abuses in research studies. The author was a presenter at the conference I just attended.

Overall, it was good. The end was much more exciting than the beginning. Part of it felt she had her first creative writing class and was a bit wordy in sections. But, overall, it was a good story. A fresh take on time travel and the consequences.
